Inês Gusman is a Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Faculty of Humanities (Lugo), and Director of the Euroregional Studies Center Galicia–North of Portugal Foundation (CEER Foundation). She holds a Ph.D. in Regional Development and Economic Integration from USC, a Master’s in Planning and Territorial Management, and a degree in Economics from the University of Minho. Her research focuses primarily on cross-border and intermunicipal cooperation, border dynamics, territorial identities, and cultural heritage management. She has participated in competitive research projects and authored various publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. Her academic work includes collaborations with researchers from different universities in Portugal and Spain, as well as from Brazil, Chile, Wales, and other international contexts.
