Resumo

À partir de certains processus urbains qui ont pris place dans la ville contemporaine, l�espace publique s�est converti en un concepte d�usage commun. Néanmoins, paralèlement à l�inflation discursive sucitée à son égard, l�espace publique a vécu une déstabilisation quant à sa conceptualisation géographique. L�anémie de certaines manières de faire, héritées de la pensée moderne trop engluée dans une réseau ennuyant et prévisible d�oppositions binaires, rendait difficile découvrir/ décrire quelque chose qui ne fusse pas déjà préscrit. De plus, l�apparition de certaines épistémologies plus créatives et expérimentales, propulsées par un débat ontologique inusuel, implique que toute recherche sur l�espace publique doive s�aborder d�une perspective qui reconnaisse la multiple relationalité, perspective qui nie la condition de réalité donnée de l�espace publique et qui questionne les différentes approches plus normatifs.
