Doctor by the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela with the thesis La participación de las regiones en el sistema político de la Unión Europea 2008. Supervised by Dr. Ramón Máiz Suárez.

I presently work as an associate professor (Profesora Titular) of Political Science and Public Administration at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC). I hold a master’s degree in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, and I have completed my training at various other academic institutions, such as the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, or the Center for the Study of Europe at Boston University. My current professional activities are focused on innovative research into the quality of European governance and public administrations.
