Abstract
The integration of active, participatory and practice oriented methodological proposals in the University context, including Service-learning (S-l), favours the student professional development. This proposal aims to identify which variables linked with professional insertion and guidance processes are worked when we apply the learning-Service methodology in Higher education, what type these factors are and what the positive effects are that occur in college students to develop these dimensions through the approach S-l, especially in the one with degrees related to education.Through a literature and documentary review and the experiences analysis of learning-Service in the University field (projects undertaken in degrees that lead to the training of socio-educational agents), the benefits of this educational approach about the main contents in the student professional careers will be studied (selfawareness, awareness of the opportunities, decision making and transition learning).
