Abstract

This study address the relationship between the silversmithing with the architecture through the figure of Ricardo Martínez Costoya, through an unpublished series of sketches that we found recently in the personal archive of the silversmith. In his notebooks, we found a large amount of architectural designs that show his excellent management of historical styles, highlighting the impotance that Neogothic had in his work, to get real microarchitectures made with silver.
