Zusammenfassung

For over a decade the Spanish university has been immersed in a context of continuous transformations derived, among others, in order to harmonize higher education systems in Europe, which has resulted in changes to policy, institutional level and even educational. One of the most significant is what has led to the necessary adaptation by the universities and their centers to a new map of qualifications and developing plans appropriate to the structure of the European Higher Education Area. However, despite the many changes in recent years have seen, there are elements that remain almost unchanged, as the existence of strongly masculinized or feminized degrees, which can be considered an indicator of the persistence of stereotypes because of gender in academic and professional choices made by students. In this context, the aim of this paper is to analyze the evolution of enrollment in undergraduate degrees in Spain by gender, based on different statistics.
