Resumo

Educational professionals are well placed to make an early detection of child abuseand to identify possible risk cases. However, they sometimes claim lack of knowledge and training to performsuch tasks, an issue on which the scientific literature collects diverse results and conclusions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the training of future education professionals in intrafamily child abuse, specifically their knowledge about risk factors, ie,those circumstances that may increase the probability of situations of abuse in the family environment.
