Zusammenfassung

Within the context of the various research projects and the innovative educational experiences with a multicultural approach in progress in Catalonia, this paper explores two experiences related to the introduction of the Galician Language and Culture Studies –and, in particular, geography of Galicia- into various educational levels. First, it will explore the Compulsory Secondary School and, second, the Galician Culture Courses for adults taught at the public university and the Galician cultural centers. Prior to this explanation, there will be some general considerations about multicultural education, including the role of geography within this educational approach.
