Abstract
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages represents a first step forward in the teaching of fixed expressions, since they are included as necessary elements, like the rest of elements involved in language learning. In spite of it, this text presents theoretical gaps that prevent it from being efficiently implemented. Phraseodidactics, as the acknowledged field of study for this issue, must solve such gaps.
