Resumo

The implementation in Spain of the European Higher Education Area has brought a number of changes. The methodologies are designed to focus on three aspects, the organization of student learning, the development of such learning and the way in which it will conduct its evaluation. We focus on the method of assessment, at how has been reflected in the marks obtained by the students of Business Management and Administration (BMA). We compare the results of the students obtained in the previous Bachelor of BMA (in the subject Analytical and General Accounting) in which applied a system of traditional evaluation or only test with the results obtained in the degree of BMA (In two equivalent subjects Accounting Statements and Analysis of Financial Statements) which is applied in a system of continuous assessment. Overall and grade in both subjects, the results obtained by students in the first year of implementation of continuous assessment improved. We believe that the main cause is the greatest teacher student interaction, the more feedback that occurs along the course and more constant work carried out by the student.
