Doctor by the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela with the thesis Aproximación á estructura da frase nominal en galego, frases con posesivos desde a sincronía medieval á moderna 2001. Supervised by Dr. Francisco Xabier Varela Barreiro.

I am a professor of Galician language at the Faculty of Humanities of the USC (Lugo campus). I research syntactic change in the Galician language and the linguistic attitudes and ideologies of migrants and returnees to Galicia.
