Doctor by the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela with the thesis Thermophysical Characterization of Lubricants Additivated with Nanoparticles for their Application in Renewable Energies 2019. Supervised by Dr. Alfredo J. Amigo Pombo, Dr. María José Pérez Comuñas.

I hold a degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng) from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2014 (5-year Degree; Average grade: 7.42/10). I also obtained a MSc in Renewable Energies (2015 – grade point: 7.92/10), at the University of San Pablo CEU (Madrid, Spain). I joined as a researcher in training, within the project “Use of nanofluids in the production of wind energy and in the formulation of more efficient lubricants, ENE2014-55489-C2-1-R” in the Thermophysical Properties Laboratory, LPT, at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Subsequently, I was awarded a Ph.D. in Materials Science with the thesis entitled “Thermophysical Characterization of Lubricants Additivated with Nanoparticles for their Application in Renewable Energies” (2019 – Cum Laude and Extraordinary Ph.D. Award) by the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) supervised by Dr. M.J.P. Comuñas (ORCID: 0000-0002-8324-1103) and Dr. A. Amigo (ORCID: 0000-0002-8092-6502). During my Ph.D. I was awarded a stay grant from IACOBUS Programme 2016-2017 - European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Galicia-North Portugal (GNP-ECT) for three months at the University of Porto (Portugal). I began as researcher fellow at Bournemouth University (UK) in 2019 with a competitive post-doctoral grant from Xunta de Galicia (Spain) with reference grant ED481B-2019-015. I am also a member of NaFoMat Group (http://nafomat.usc.es/people/status/post_docs) and iMATUS Institute of Materials (https://imatus.usc.es/investigadores), both founded by Xunta de Galicia.
