Raúl Eirín-Nemiña, PhD is an experienced educator and researcher with a solid background in both practical and academic settings. Initially serving as a primary school physical education teacher, he later spent fourteen years as an educational advisor for the educational administration, where he led teacher professional development initiatives and promoted educational innovations. Since joining the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2009, he has been actively engaged in teaching and research, focusing on training future primary education teachers. Additionally, he coordinated the Professional Master’s in Secondary Education for four years. Dr. Eirín-Nemiña’s doctoral research focused on the professional development of physical education teachers. His work extends to participating in several funded educational research projects and contributing to national and international conferences on teacher training. His research interests and publications primarily focus on teacher professional development, particularly in physical education, and, more broadly, school improvement and innovation processes.
