B.Sc. in Economics and Business Studies, USC, M.Sc. in Economics, Birkbeck College, University of London, PhD in Economics, USC, and recipient of the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Analysis Fundamentals at the USC. Currently, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Management at the Lugo campus. His research focuses on labor market macroeconomics, the relationship between uncertainty and savings at the macro level, and regional disparities in unemployment. He has been recognized with three research six-year periods and one transfer six-year period by the CNEAI. He has supervised 7 doctoral theses. He is the president of the Galician Association of Regional Science.
