Doctor by the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela with the thesis La conflictividad vecinal en la Galicia de fines del Antiguo Régimen los conflictos por medidas y límites 2016. Supervised by Dr. Ofelia Rey Castelao.
Graduated in piano (2008). Graduated in History (2010), with Extraordinary Award, Master in Teaching (2011) and doctor in Early Modern History, with international mention and Extraordinary Award (2018). I carried out 5 research stays, in Paris, Argentina, Mexico and Chile. I was hired as a postdoc at Sorbonne U. and U. of Lisbon (2018/19) and I am currently a professor of Early Modern History at USC. I have published three books as sole author and another two as coordinator, and I have participated in more than 50 national and international conferences (France, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Mexico). I was awarded the Ferro Couselo (2016) and Taboada Chivite (2019) research awards. I have a personal research transfer website with +28,000 visits: Galicia Digital 1753. I was coordinator of "Hª of Spain" at the EBAU of Cantabria (2020-2023), Deputy Director of the Department of Early Modern and Contemporary Hª at the UC (2022-2024) and secretary of the CAPD in Cultural Studies at the USC (current).
