Zusammenfassung

In this text, I want to share some of the reflections I have been doing in the past years regarding the relevance of a critical feminist perspective in museums and heritage, in order to do not perpetuate gender roles and stereotypes as well as to eradicate hierarchies and dynamics that create inequalities. The absence of women or their stereotyped representation affects the undervaluing, trivialization or ridiculization of what has been historically associated with femininity, thus reproducing the bases of symbolic violence. However, we can not only attend to symbolic injustice, but also on the invisibility of precariousness and conditions of material inequality.
