Abstract

Unlike which it happens with most of agrarian products, the market gives the wood does not exist prices of reference. It was stated that the prices that are handled in the Galician market establish from which they establish in park of raw material in the factories of sawed wood, board and paste of paper, not leaving possibility to the intervention of other agents in the market. In this work the results obtained for the improvement of the commercial sector of raw material (roll wood) coming from mounts of public and deprived management of Galicia appear. In this work the departure situation of the forest sector in Galicia is analyzed, specially in which it makes reference to the two main species as they are the pine and the eucalyptus. In one second phase, an analysis SWOT is made, of the factors that take part in the productive chain (forest proprietors board sawmills, industry and plate and paste industry). Finally a proposal of intervention, supported by the public initiative and the prevailed one is carried out, that allows to give greater versatility to the sector, transparency and competitiveness. The basic characteristicses appear and analyze that must fulfill the unit formed by a physical and virtual market for the commercialization of a 20% of the Galician wood, analyzing those technical requirements and economic that allow their operation.
