Abstract

Agricultural Production Planning is a process for the spatial organization of agroforestry products that allocates particular uses to preferential land areas in an attempt to attain sustainable development in such areas by optimizing the agricultural production systems according to environmental concerns and socio-economic and structural conditions. The aim of this research group is to determine a sustainable development path in the relationship between agriculture and its natural environment. This work team has characterized the sector of dairy in Galicia obtaining results significant and to implement an original methodology. Starting on the 15,000 existing commercial dairy farms in Galicia, we have classified them based on its size (5 dimensional ranges), of its productive characteristics (3 differentials kind) and based on climatic conditions (15 zones). We determine a sample in agreement with the minimum variance of Neyman, making a exhaustive survey to the selected sample. In the communication we presented the methodology and obtained results, by means of which we characterized dairy sector.
