Resumo

The importance of early identification of cognitive impairment and the estimation of its impact on functionality highlight the need for better approaches to assess instrumental activities of daily living (IADL). The Amsterdam IADL Questionnaire (Sikkes et al., 2012) is a 70-item informant-based computerized questionnaire developed to detect functional changes in early stages of cognitive impairment. The Spanish version of the test has been adapted and validated by the Psychogerontological Group of the University of Santiago de Compostela. The objective of the current study is to investigate IADL differences between diagnostic groups and its relationship with cognitive functioning.
