Abstract
This article states the involvement of Jacoba Ozores in the murder of her father, the Count of Priegue, committed by Jaime Hickey in Santiago in 1753. The young noblewoman had a passionate love affair with the Irish soldier that ended tragically. She was condemned to seclusion, but all the Galicians convents rejected her. Her brother Juan Antonio married her with a gentleman and tried they lived in an inherited house on the banks of the Ulla River, however, Jacoba and her husband did not like rural life and always refused to live in that exceptional place
