Resumo

This study focuses on community-based socio-educational resilience, particularly on analysing the involvement of social and educational stakeholders in the design and implementation of social and educational solutions aimed at palliating situations of adversity such as that caused by Covid-19. Its goals were to identify resilient practices linked to children and young people in 5 territories of Catalonia (Celrà, the Ciutat Vella neighbourhood of Barcelona, Girona, Olot and Palafrugell), and to suggest specific measures to assess and promote practices that can enhance community-based socio-educational resilience processes. The methodological approach was mixed and based on: a questionnaire aimed at children and adolescents (10-17 years) (N=1.216) and young people (18-29) (N=115); a set of 93 resilient practices with 30 interviews with their leaders; and 5 discussion groups (N=36). The main results are presented, as well as a description of an analytical model that makes it possible to discover, analyse and promote the resilient practices of a community. This model was operationalised by grouping 20 indicators in three dimensions: support and personalisation; collective action and social capital; and communication actions. The result is a practical guide taking the format of a checklist, aimed at assisting decisiontaking to enhance socio-educational resilience, for workers, political bodies and members of the social and educational sector.
