Abstract

In recent decades, the need for personal skills to be able to develop a job as a manager has become evident. However, traditional methodologies focus their objective on the exclusive formation of theoretical and practical concepts. Consequently, there is a gap between the training requirements demanded by companies and those offered by educational centres. This research analyses theatre as a training tool for the training of practical theoretical concepts and personal skills. The theatre, as an experimental educational methodology, elevates the role of the student from a passive role, acquiring a leading role. Through qualitative research, this research studies the advantages and disadvantages of the use of theatre in business management education from the perspective of gender and social responsibility. As a result of the investigation, the role of theatre in the formation of responsible leaders and with personal skills that favour non-discrimination and empowerment.
