Abstract
The revision of a piece from the old Blanco Cicero Collection, recovered by the Museo das Mariñas and already studied by Luis Monteagudo, allows us to review the role that archaic palstaves will play in the morphogenesis of Atlantic Bronze metallurgy in the Iberian Peninsula. Furthemore, it will allow us to redefine the characterization and chronology of the transcendental changes that will take around the thirteenth century BC to the last stage of the Bronze Age in the Northwest and the heyday of the production and circulation of bronze.
