Resumo

As pequenas empresas desempenham um papel significativo na economia e a sua gestão é influenciada por diferentes factores, como a posse de uma literacia financeira adequada. Utilizando dados do Inquérito às Competências Financeiras nas Pequenas Empresas, este artigo analisa se a dimensão, o sector e a natureza exportadora das empresas estão relacionados com o nível de literacia financeira dos seus proprietários/gestores. As estimativas revelam uma relação positiva entre a dimensão das empresas e a literacia financeira dos seus proprietários.
