Abstract
Our aim is to examine the utility of media literacy education as a tool for encouraging social intercultural interaction in youth group. From the feminist perspective, we have analyzed three case studies. Particularly, the three projects are in progress at Catalonia (EmMou BCN Intercultural, kdm;) and Joves, Identitat i Creació). This research allows us to propose specific action lines aimed at improving the application and development of such initiatives. This text is the result of an investigation carried out in 2010/2011: "The intercultural youth revitalization projects in the Web 2. 0 environment from the feminist perspective", funded by the Institut Català de les Dones and the Institut de la Comunicació InCom-UAB (competitive Project).
