Resumo

Data have been collected and nomenclatural aspects related to a series of plant communities have been analyzed with the aim of clarifying, justifying, specifying or typifying associations or higher ranks to improve the Chilean vegetation syntaxonomic classification. The collected data and precisions affect nine phytosociological classes: Aristotelietea chilensis, Ephedro chilensis-Chuquiragetea oppositifoliae, Lithraeo causticae-Cryptocaryetea albae, Mayteno boariae-Salicetea humboldtianae, Molinio caeruleae-Arrhenatheretea elatioris, Myr-teolo nummulariae-Sphagnetea magellanici, Phragmito-Magnocaricetea, Potametea and Wintero-Nothofagetea dombeyi.
