Esquemas fraseológicos y construcciones fraseológicas en el contínuum léxico-gramática

Resumo

This work deals with both the study of the concepts esquema fraseológico and construcción fraseológica which partially overlap, and with their placement in the lexis-grammar continuum. In order to achieve this aim, it is convenient to delve into the terms of The Spanish Phraseology: with open-slot idioms and synonym lexical variants. These are related with the above mentioned concepts since these units are made of a fixed part and of variable slots. The purpose of the analysis is ( 1) to prove the weakness of stability as a criterion to determine which phraseological units are more or less prototypical; (2) to explore the advantages of the Grammar Construction for the study of phraseologisms, espccially for those with constituents non previously fixed in the paradigm and (3) to make visible the usefulness of the corpora for the study of the slots of phraseological constructions.
