Abstract

Social Research in Communication: Quantitative, Qualitative and Participatory Methodologies, by Julio Bravo Mancero, Ph.D. in Communication and Contemporary Information, is a book that covers the methodological aspect, as an emerging fact for today. It is a rigorous approach to information gathering techniques, in the field, designs original instruments that are a contribution to address the problems that are found in the environment and that require a solution. He founds the work from the perspective of classic and contemporary authors who not only cement the work, but also show a path, unprecedented until now, to intervene in reality from the communicational point of view. Consequently, this book becomes a practical tool, for consultation, but also for action that aims to motivate work for the academy, and also for inter, trans and multidisciplinary projects that motivate multisectoral development and transformation.
