Resumo
Deciduous teeth play an important role in the child’s growth and general development, so it is necessary to keep them until their physiological exfoliation. Due to the complex radicular anatomy of primary teeth, when there is an extensive affectation of the pulp, the pulpectomy becomes a challenge. Traditionally, endodontic treatment has been done with manual K-Files, but the introduction of rotary files in pediatric dentistry has improved the result and let clinicians be more conservative. Nowadays, most of the commercialized rotary systems are designed for permanent teeth and there are not clear guidelines or recommendations for deciduous teeth. This article presents three case reports of pulpectomy treatment. All of them were performed with a new pediatric rotary file system.
