Abstract
We present the archaeological site of Faro de Budiño. A fortifi cation exists here, but it has received very little attention so far. On the basis of its size, confi guration and localization, we suggest a chronological origin in late antiquity, with an interest focused on the defense of the site and the control of the surrounding territory, in particular, the Val da Louriña.
