Abstract

In a context of digital transformation and immediacy of news, technological advances applied to the field of mobile telephones offer journalists a new tool that allows them to independently prepare content through the use of a single device, the so-called smartphone. This is an increasingly sophisticated device that allows them to write, record and edit news content to publish it on multiple platforms in a short time and from the same medium. This phenomenon, known as mobile journalism or MoJo, opens up other avenues to establish live connections and allows the development of new audiovisual narratives, two possibilities that, together with the previous ones, could revolutionise traditional workflows and have a direct impact on the planning of the human and technical teams of the newsrooms that implement them.
