Resumo
This work shows the first results in an analysis of recent trends in Project Management (PM) research, as they are reflected in works published in journals indexed in bibliographic databases of the Journal of Citation Reports® (JRC).The methodology of analysis is based in the identification of key words or concepts found in a specialized PM journal, with high impact factor, obtained for a given temporal range, and comparing them with a PM term dictionary. Then, the frequency of occurrence and the network of relationships among identified terms is analysed. The utility of this work is based in the diagnosis of the current state of the art and the evolution of the discipline, and the identification of new and promising research lines which could be compared with the current situation of PM and its practice.
