Abstract

The “Corpus de Estilo Directo Atípico en Español (CEDAE)” is a set of one hundred and thirty-three direct speech statements inserted by the socalled “narrative verbs”, extracted from seven representative novels of contemporary Spanish and Latin American literature. The design of the corpus responds to investigative fines of a grammatical and discursive nature, although it also aims to serve other studies on the question of direct speech.
