[EN]This paper analyzes how international book fairs are a conduciveplace to leam about the dynamies of literary and editorial fields and at thesame the functions of editars and writers, identifying time it examines thetype of poli ti cal, economic and cultural implications that make them suitableto diplomacy and a useful tool for the soft power of a country.
