Resumo

The development of the digital cartographiesbased on remote sensing and geographical informationsystems have result in a dramatic alteration of the conceptsand techniques relatives to the territorial expression of thebiodiversity, with the subsequent reformulation of the“Landscape” and “Habitat” concepts. In this work these newtendencies are analyzed and current typologies used in theterritory of Galicia are exposed.
