Abstract

COVID-19 was identified in December 2019 (in Wuhan, China), quickly reaching the WHO pandemic rating. Since then it has caused serious illness and death across the planet. Most governments, as a mesure decreed limitation of people´s freedom of movement. Numerous studies conclude that this situation has caused negative psychological effects (anxiety and depression) causing hihg psycho-emotional suffering. One of the effects found is the increase in family crises and couple breakdowns with high family conflict. Generally, this conflict interferes with the positive exercise of parenting and co-parenting. A study with 300 Spanish parent´s in a situation of breakup of a couple with children was proposed, 150 before confinement and 150 during confinement. To evaluate the conflict, the ACPAR scale was applied. Results indicate that the attitude toward interparental conflict has worsemed after COVID-19. Reflection about the importance of implementing resources for Therapeutic Jurisprudence (TJ) is carried.
