Abstract

In this work my aim is to give a synchronic description of spoken Arabic as used by the media in Jordan. This description permits a demonstration of phonological and syntax features without neglecting the methods of lexical enrichment of language. Moreover, it contributes to highlighting the diversity of syntax structures by referring from time to time to other languages of European tradition. The phonological study permits the emergence of the consonantal and vocal structures of the language. This section presents an inventory of consonantal and vocal phonemes, their identification and their presentation. The syntax study concerns a classification of units of language which are grouped around dichotomy, verbal and non-verbal predicates. The study of syntax functions, which are considered as wholly individual linguistic signs, resulted in the preparation of a relational method which is both coherent and economic.
