Principales controversias en torno a la pensión de alimentos de los a hijos mayores de edad desde el punto de vista sustantivo

The work I present addresses one of the main issues associated with marriage crises, namely, parents' maintenance obligations towards their children, but limits its scope to the pension granted to children who have reached the age of majority. Throughout this study we will address the most controversial issues raised by this maintenance obligation from a substantive point of view. We shall begin by defining this reality at the conceptual level and then analyse the requirements that must be met for this obligation to exist. We will also discuss the time limit and possible causes for the extinction of the maintenance obligation, in order to identify the gaps to be filled and the jurisprudential treatment of this issue.
