Análisis comparativo de algoritmos de segmentación de fuel en imágenes de radar

Abstract

This thesis is about the evaluation of algorithms for oil spill detection in radar images of the sea in order to help in the analysis tasks. For the effective monitoring of oil spills on the sea it is important to have segmentation algorithms, which can help in image analysis tasks. In the field of image analysis systems it is increasingly important to perform comparative studies of algorithms, because of the number of new algorithms and variations of already established algorithms. This kind of studies can help in the process of selection of suitable algorithms for specific problems.
