Abstract

Consumption with the net metering allows that a user can generate, through renewable energy, part of the electricity that it consumes and that surplus is discharged into the grid, which does not sell directly, but it represents a right to be able to reduce the cost of the bill with the power company. This paper is carried out an economic analysis of the use of power turbines below 100 kW, depending on the value of the wind resource and the cost of electricity.
