Resumen

Internet is mainly a communication system in continuous evolution, which provides us all the means for the propagation at world level of susceptible contents of being digitalizable, as well as the combination of different communicative systems. Making use of that powerful quality and taking as development base the Shockwave technology of Macromedia's, we have developed an engine that integrates real time 3D technology environments, a multi-user system and also access to integrated databases. To test the engine, we have recreated a historical environment; the Square of the Quintana located in the old town of the city of Santiago of Compostela. The environment is integrated in a web page, accessible by a web browser.
