Abstract

The main goal of this work is to propose a model to evaluate the University Educational Environment. To get to this model we have studied three key and fundamental points: the conceptual revision about the university studies in Architecture, making a relation of architectonical criterion (aesthetic, functional, environmental, etc.) with pedagogical and social criterion; the comparison between two university buildings (Universitat de les Illes Balears and Centro Universitário Feevale) in which we have analyzed their physical spaces and also have made a research on the opinion about these spaces by people who use them; we have made a deep study about an elected university space, that is, the new university libraries, considering them as educational services. Through the triangulation of these points we have been outlined the final object of this thesis, Modelo de Análisis Integral para la Evaluación de los Espacios Educativos Universitarios - called Model E3Uni.
