Abstract

Franciscanism has a very remarkable presence in Galicia. Its different branches, masculine and femenine, have been very fertile in these lands and who walks around these places meets them in every corner along the journey. The Paradores of Verín and the Castle of Monterrei, must be considered, in this case, such as very pertinent places from which to go into the pages of two of those Franciscan convents: the one of Monterrei and the one of Trandeiras
