Resumo

Este artículo analiza las estrategias de producción informativa aplicadas una agencia de noticias de género mexicana, CIMAC. El objetivo es estudiar las dinámicas de selección de las fuentes informativas basadas en el género de las mismas. Se han analizado, mediante una metodología cuantitativa de análisis de contenido, todas las noticias publicadas por la agencia de noticias CIMAC en su página web entre 1999 y el 2015 sobre el feminicidio de Ciudad Juárez. Así, se estudiaron a través de una ficha de análisis 2.712 fuentes utilizadas en 1.284 noticias, partiendo de su nivel de oficialidad y de su género. Los resultados muestran que a medida que disminuye el nivel de oficialidad de la fuente aumenta la presencia de las mujeres.
