Abstract

This paper is a survey on some recent results about nilpotent complex structures _ on compact nilmanifolds. We deal with the classi_cation problem of compact nilmanifolds admitting such a _ , the study of a Dolbeault minimal model and its formality, and the construction of nilpotent complex structures for which the Fr¿olicher spectral sequence does not collapse at the second term.
