Abstract

Recently, we proposed a wavefront sensing method based on the interference between the image of the beam and a diffracted copy of itself. The phase is recovered by means of a numerical algorithm which relates the two waves by the Fresnel diffraction integral. In this paper we adapt the algorithm to work with a particular sensor based on a Mach-Zhender type interferometer. We analyse numerically the working of the algorithm.
