Abstract

The learning of a second language (english) is one of the aims of elementary education, which is currently characterized by a learning methodology based on written language, that memorizing words and grammatical structures that are acquiring a textbook tracking. The acquisition of competence communicative in must be an objective that the teacher must get and the best way to acquire it is used in real contexts. Dramatic play is a very useful resource in education. Also in the second language classroom, enabling to create a situation dramatized in which language should be used realistically and using a system of gestural communication that will facilitate the process of teaching and learning in an entertaining, fun and effective way. We show an educational proposal with the aim of improving the learning of the second language in elementary education using dramatic play as a resource in the classroom, demonstrating the benefits of the interdisciplinary work between the matthers of Physical Education and second language (english).
