Abstract
The aim of this article has been to make a brief review of the progress experienced in the area of the adhesive resin systems, during the last few years. Likewise, atention has been payed to those structural and morphological aspects which are the basis of their interaction with the dental tissues, and which are currently subjected to constant revision. The article also shows the repercusion that such facts have on some of the clinical procedures most widely employed in restorative dentistry.
