Zusammenfassung
Codices T and F in the Cantigas de Santa María contain miniatures that illustrate the miracles or ideas expounded in the various different poetic compositions. Most of these miniatures are accompanied by legends which, just like the cantigas, are written in Galician. Both the hypercorrections and the Castilianisms in the legends reveal that whoever wrote them had only a limited command of Galician.
