Abstract

Treatment of permanent teeth with open apex is a challenging procedure for the endodontist because of its complexity of execution. 10 year old patient of 10 arrives with pulp necrosis in 4.5. Pulp regeneration is done in two sessions. At follow-up visits favorable evolutions are seen, such as a disappearance of clinical symptoms, increase in the thickness of the root walls and as an increased root length. The pulp regeneration is an excellent alternative to apexification with silicate (MTA or Biodentine) when treating necrotic teeth with open apex.
